Le numéro 129 d'AV Proyectos explore le potentiel architectural de la couleur à différentes échelles. Trois expositions à Madrid, dont Luis Fernández-Galiano fait la critique, servent de cadre introductif à une série de projets illustrant cette polyvalence : l'intervention domestique détaillée de Beatriz Ramo et Bernd Upmeyer, les logements uniques de Wiki World, TEST et selgascano, et les œuvres de grande envergure de Padilla Nicás et MVRDV. Dans cette perspective, l'architecte et designer d'intérieur Javier Jiménez Iniesta, du Studio Animal, s'entretient avec Arquitectura Viva de sa conception du chromatisme comme outil de conception et non comme simple caprice esthétique. Le numéro se poursuit avec la rubrique « Propositions », où Eugeni Bach commente le développement de Barcelone à l'aune de concours récents tels que la rénovation de la Fira Barcelona ou la transformation des Tres Xemeneies de Sant Adrià de Besòs. Le magazine se poursuit avec la rubrique « Processus », qui analyse la construction du nouveau musée Abby Kortrijk, pour lequel Barozzi Veiga propose un équilibre entre précision et sobriété. Outre les actualités et les produits habituels, les dernières pages sont consacrées au dessinateur de bande dessinée Chris Ware, dont la remarquable œuvre graphique est actuellement exposée au CCCB : Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona.

AV Proyectos 129 explores the architectural potential of color at different scales, and three exhibitions in Madrid – reviewed by Luis Fernández-Galiano – serve as the introductory frame for a series of projects that are examples of this versatility: the detailed domestic intervention of Beatriz Ramo and Bernd Upmeyer, the unique housing by Wiki World, TEST and selgascano, and the large-scale works by Padilla Nicás and MVRDV. Along this line, the architect and interior designer Javier Jiménez Iniesta, of Studio Animal, talks with Arquitectura Viva about his defense of chromatism as a project tool and not just an aesthetic whim. The issue moves on to the Proposals section, where Eugeni Bach comments on the growth of Barcelona in the context of recent competitions like the renovation of Fira Barcelona or the transformation of Les Tres Xemeneies of Sant Adrià de Besòs; and continues with the Process section, which analyzes the construction of the new Abby Kortrijk Museum, for which Barozzi Veiga propose a balance between precision and restraint. Along with the usual news and products, the last pages are dedicated to the comic book artist Chris Ware, whose virtuous graphic production is currently on view at the CCCB: Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona.
